On September 30, The TexInvestors Team members from RE/MAX Premier Properties I and their families will be walking together in the Dallas “Walk to Cure Diabetes,” benefiting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. There are more than 18 million Americans affected by diabetes and the JDRF has provided more funding for diabetes research than any other non-governmental agency in the world.
Marissa, the seven year-old daughter of one of the TexInvestors Team members has fought diabetes for over five years. The team sees the strength and courage of young Marissa every day in her fight to keep the disease from claiming her life. The TexInvestors Team is named Marissa’s Stampede.
