Addison Education & Strong Schools

Students in Dallas and many of its suburbs, including Addison, have the privilege of attending Dallas Independent School District schools. Because the district practices public school choice, students will be able to choose an excellent school from the state's second-largest public school district. Among those schools, the School of Science & Engineering and the School for the Talented & Gifted have been ranked among some of the top in the nation, with the School for the Talented & Gifted ranked as America's top high school for eight years. Several of the schools have been awarded National Blue Ribbon School status as well.
